Why not start an environmental group instead.
Write a forum post about Earth Day tonight, and I'll feature it. No links in the post please.
Then you can use the share option to invite all your Ning friends to read it.

- Larry, this sounds like a good group to be in. I look forward to developing my social networking business. I'm considering starting an Earth Day group here to make people aware of what's going on in the Environmentalism/ Alternative Energy/ Green movement.
